The think tank for a future shared with humanoid robots
AI and robotics will lift productivity to levels unseen since the Industrial Revolution. We work on how to share those gains as a universal income, and on the new world of leisure they will open.
Why Skholè

When AI and robots multiply what we produce, what will we do with the gains and the time?
The ancient Greeks had a word for it. Skholè meant the free time a citizen gave to thinking, learning and debating. It is the root of our word “school”.
AI will create new jobs and lift productivity to levels unseen since the Industrial Revolution. In an age of ever fewer children and enormous public debt, we need that value. The question is how to share it, and what a world with more free time will look like. Skholè works on those questions in the open.
Skholè is an independent, non-profit association. It covers every field where AI and humanoid robots will be used.
